About me

I’m Nico Barmettler from Switzerland, a passionate paragliding pilot. In 2020, I passed my paragliding exam with my Pi 3 and discovered the feeling of freedom in the air. Since then, I’ve been flying not only as a pilot but also helping out at my former paragliding school, where I get to meet new faces and hear fascinating stories from the paragliding community.

In addition to my love for flying, I completed my studies in psychology, which has given me valuable insights into human behavior. This knowledge also influences how I approach flying and the interactions with other pilots. Both psychology and paragliding have shown me how important it is to support each other and learn from one another.

This project was born from my love for nature, my desire to exchange experiences with other pilots, and my excitement about sharing this sport with others. It’s not about perfection for me; it’s about inspiring one another, learning together, and growing as a community.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me along the way, whether through advice, flying together, or simply sharing experiences. Without you, none of this would be the same.

Take care and always „Happy Landings“!

Nico
